What he noticed first

He never considered himself to be a judge of appearance. He was the whole ‘don’t judge a book by its cover’ kind of guy, at least, that’s what he thought.

So when he first noticed the curves of Junko Sasaki's Shadow in that jester outfit, he started to question if that were really the case.

It wasn’t as if that was her only quality he liked, either. He did enjoy her company. And her aloof, deadpan yet offbeat humorous nature had really charmed him. All in all, he really liked her for her personality.

But he still had to admit…It wasn’t the first thing he had noticed.

Diamond in the Rough

Crybaby. Cowardly. Lanky. Even kind of pathetic.

That’s how Nanami Wakahisa viewed the new SEES member when he had first joined, stuttering nervously and sweating profusely. She paid no mind to him as he introduced himself, and barely even gave him any of her attention when she told him her name.

Yet there was something about him that piqued her interest. Giving him a good look over once introductions were finished, she realized he did indeed have some potential to be someone great. Of course, he would never be great had she not given him a little…push.

It was silly at first, picking such a clumsy weakling as her personal servant. Her, the sole heiress of the Wakahisa family fortune, one who only wanted the best of everything. Briefly she had even wondered if she made the right choice.

But he was a diamond in the rough. A diamond that was rugged and rough around the edges.

And she would help him shine.

Little Details Best (not) Forgotten

Akihiko Sanada had devoted his whole life to training and becoming strong.

Finding a suitable opponent for him was difficult, considering just how strong he was already. He already bested everyone in the boxing club, and was on the path to becoming part of the Championship Boxing Leagues.

So when he met the hard kicking punk-ish member of YIN, he felt just a bit more than satisfaction.

Yes, they were always getting in their way, much like another team of Persona Users, he realized, but he never seemed to mind as much when facing off against her. It was better than going against their brash ‘leader’ who had some kind of temper problem.

He was a boxing pro, one who used swift yet powerful jabs that could knock out Shadows within one hit if struck at just the right spot.

She had legs of fury. Rarely ever using her hands for combat, her use of only her legs were no problem for her. Getting kicked by her honestly felt like a hammer to the face.

That’s why he liked to challenge her. She was tough. Strong. Worthy.

He admired her for her strength, even if she was an ‘enemy’.

To him, she was his equal, they were the same.

He had told her that one day.

“…Except that I’m female.” She had responded.

“….W-wait, what?!” It wasn’t as if he never realized.

He just forgot.

He lost the fight that day. She was even more fierce when angry.

Their World

To Yu Narukami, his family and his friends meant the world to him.

To Yuna Kuzunoha, her family and the title of ‘Raidou’ was her world.

Before they had met, their worlds were separate. Apart. They had nothing to do with each other.

When they met, their worlds collided.

To Yu, it was a good feeling, another person to meet, another bond to make.

To Yuna, it was a distraction. She had come for her own personal, albeit not all that selfish, reasons, and planned to make little bonds.

Time passed, Shadows were faced and eventually accepted. Murders were solved. Unbreakable bonds had been forged.

Their worlds became one.

Bros

To say Nobuo Kichida hated the Investigation Team was an understatement. He despised them. He hated what they were doing. How dare they play the role of ‘heroes’, when the biggest unsung hero had already made the ultimate sacrifice for the world?

However, Koji Fukui was an exception.

Sure, he had met the other when going through his ‘twin complex’ but the two had hit it off fairly well. Even after Koji’s true self shined through, and his Shadow was accepted they remained good friends. Nanami said it was probably because the younger was a bit like Junpei. Stupid, annoying, and incredibly loyal.

Whatever the reason, they were the best of friends, and one huge bromance.

Junko insisted there might be more to it.

Both denied any claim.

Proving Himself

To her, he was only like a little brother. A cute kid who tried too much to please her, that’s all he was in her eyes. And Ken Amada knew that. He tried to act more mature when around Nijika. He tried to get taller, drank all his milk, even ate more vegetables(he still hated them). Still, she would just laugh that sweet laugh of hers and pat his head. He was still a child to her.

After graduating elementary school, he worked even harder. The two had remained in contact with one another, but only via phone calls and emails. They had their own lives to live now, him in middle school, and her assisting Yatsuko with showbiz.

They promised to meet again someday and Ken hoped it was soon.

She wouldn’t see him as a child.

She would see him as a man.

A man she would love and who would love her back.

Routine

Sometimes she would awaken in the middle of the night. It was never from a nightmare, or even a lack of sleep. She just wanted to see the moon. Not the menacing, overwhelming moon of the Dark Hour, but the moon that she had always known, the one she had used to look at when she was but a mere child.

Sometimes she would make her way into the lounge to get a better look, and maybe a snack.

She would always find him there, hands deep in his pockets as he leaned against the wall, glancing out the window.

She would giggle, alerting him to her presence, and gently grab hold of his arm. He would blush, grumble, and pull his beanie downwards over his eyes in embarrassment.

They would then just stand there for several minutes, the gentle glow of the moon illuminating the lounge just right.

Then she would ask him for a snack. He’d groan, asking her why couldn’t she get it herself, or just not have a snack at all. He’d complain and run his hand through his hair.

He had something made for her within a few minutes.

She’d thank him profusely, causing him to blush and tell her to not make a big deal, but smile gently as she ate.

Finally, she’d pull him into a hug, and his blush would deepen as he slowly and hesitantly returned it.

With a yawn, she’d bid him goodnight and head back to her room.

Emiko Sakamoto always enjoyed her nightly routine with Shinjiro Aragaki.
Whew, been a while since I actually wrote anything. I got hit with inspiration in the middle of the night when browsing through Persona Fanfics and though I really wanted to get out of bed and write these at that moment, it was too late at night to do so without alerting everyone else in the house.

So I wrote them the moment I got back from school.

It's been a while since I posted anything Persona related but my ideas had hit me like a bus and I had to write them out. The drabbles are mixed from Persona 3 and 4. I kinda feel bad I didn't write anything with Kokoro OTL I had some ideas but I didn't really like how I worded them so I didn't include her. Sorry bby maybe next time ;v;

This makes me miss RPing Persona now //ugly sobbing

Nanami Wakahisa, Emiko Sakamoto, and Koji Fukui all belong to me.
